What I’ve found successful is doing a combination of in-person and virtual engagements to build the foundation of trust. Working in this hybrid approach provides a much deeper level of understanding without losing the benefits of speed and flexibility. I also believe in Video + Documentation. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video says ten thousand. I also find it can clearly demonstrate concepts, objectives, challenges and benefits faster and more effectively than words alone.
The second aspect involves embracing opportunities beyond existing knowledge by inviting external expertise into your organisation. This approach enables the introduction of fresh perspectives and innovative ideas, minimising disruption to business as usual and delivering significant value. I have led and participated in a wide range of projects, encompassing Product ownership and digital transformation initiatives. My expertise has been leveraged by both Central and Local government bodies for the implementation of new digital systems, the adoption of Data Standards, and the development of information management strategies. Additionally, I have provided advisory services and implementation guidance to sectors such as utilities, manufacturing, and industrial markets, focusing on emerging technologies including AI, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Virtual/Augmented Reality.
Additionally, I have contributed to internal digital innovation efforts, offering specialist knowledge on digitally and technologically enhanced solutions across Beca’s diverse market segments. Whilst providing mentorship and career coaching for junior members.

As a senior team member, I provided mentorship and facilitated product and service discussions. My responsibilities included responding to RFX inquiries, maintaining vendor relationships, and positioning Microsoft HoloLens in the New Zealand market with Spark's innovation and IoT teams.

Interests
After leaving the stage for 11 years I have recently reignited the fire that is Performing! I am now an avid member of my local community theatre, participating in building sets, performing in both an acting and singing capacity.
I love the theatre and am trying to see as many shows as I possibly can, as I think art is truly the thing that generates community.
I am also an avid DIY'r using any excuse I can to make something or building something for myself or friends and family.
And not to fall too far into the pits of expectation, I have also found a love for the climbing wall, a safe place where it is not uncommon to just sit and stare at a wall without people asking if you are okay.
